-17/18- On Saturday, a "Dash Riprock" son  "Harley"- MBISS Am/Can MBISS MBIS CH. CynTech's A Touch of Dash (ex. Can CH CynTech's Ally McBeal, DOM) won an AWARD of MERIT at the Boxer Club of Canada National Specialty under Breeder judge Mr. David Strachan (Australia). Then on Sunday "Harley" won Best of Breed and Group 1 under judge Ms. Michelle Billings handled by Michelle Yeadon! "Harley" is owned by Patti & Rick Bergstrom & bred by Cindy Thomas (CynTech Boxers).

-9- A "Mr. Spock" daughter, "Addey" - JoCar's American Girl Doll, CGC  (Am.. CH. ScenicVu's Iridescence) won Winners Female for 3 points under judge Ms. Cheryl Myers-Egerton  handled by Medley Small at the Oxford County Kennel Club show in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada. "Addey" is owned, trained & loved by Kelli Smith (Wild Thing Boxers) in PA, USA. GO Addey! We are VERY proud of you!

-2/3/4- What a weekend for "Mr. Spock"  kids in the show rings on both sides of the border!:

First, Congratulations to "Max" - Rockett's Red Glare (ex Am. CH. Bluecollar's Starship Mercury, CD RA NA NAJ CGC TT) and his owner handler Melissa Bell on winning Winner's Dog and Best of Winners for 1 point under Breeder judge Mr.Vincent Grosso in Loveland, Colorado, USA. Max was bred by Kerry Rodgers (Rocket Boxers) and now needs 5 singles to finish his American Championship. Congrats to all of you on this beautiful plain boy!

Second,  two litter sisters bred by Cindy Laschowski (Kiss N Tell Boxers) finished their Canadian Championships this past weekend at the same show!:

- "Nala" - Kiss N Tell's Making It Happen (ex. CH. Boyarka's Kiss N Tell, RN HIC) - I had the honor of putting all but one of her points on her. Friday Nala won Winners  Female for 1 point under judge Ms. Sharon Derrick. Then after Nala won Winners Female & finished on Saturday I handed her off in Breed...she wasn't finished yet...Nala went on to win Best of Breed (with Marina Skoreiko handling) over two Specials for a 5 point win! I then took Nala back in Group where she won a Group 2 under judge Mr. Bruce Owen! Nala made her dam a Canadian Dam of Merit!

- "Jasmine" -  Kiss N Tell's Ain't Misbehavin (ex. CH. Boyarka's Kiss N Tell, RN HIC) won all her points from the Bred By Exhibitor class with breeder owner Cindy! Jasmine finished her Canadian Championship under judge Mr. Rick Glendinning.Way to go!

- "Nala" & "Jasmine" are Canadian Champions #5  & #6 for Mr. Spock! Thankyou and Congratulations Cindy!!

Last but not least, I also handled my girl "GiGi" - Can CH. JoCar's Glamour Girl of Summer, HIC at these same shows and won five Best of Breeds and two Group 3's (judges Ms. Judi Shurb & Ms. Edna Perks) and one Group 4 (judge Mr. Rick Glendinning)!

JUNE 2010

-27- Two littermates sired by our boy  "Mr. Spock"  have a great weekend in the show rings on both sides of the border!:

First, "Jaxx" - JoCar's Jack in The Boxx picked up two more points (WD & BOW) in Waynesburg, PA, USA this past weekend from the American Bred class handled by Lisa Holden. "Jaxx" now has 8 points towards his American Championship! "Jaxx" is owned & bred by Carol J. Novak (JoCar Boxers).

Second, our girl "GiGi" - Can CH. JoCar's Glamour Girl of Summer, HIC  won Two Best of Breeds owner handled by me in Alberta, Canada under judges Letitia Bett and Lynda Berar.

Bluecollar's Starship Mercury, CD RA NA NAJ CGC TT) won Winners Dog, Best of Winners for 1 point on Saturday under Breeder judge Mrs. Judith Voran and Winners Dog for 1 point on Sunday in Longmont, Colorado, USA under judge Ms. Kim Meredith-Cavanna. "Max" was Owner handled to these wins by Melissa Bell and was bred by Kerry Rodgers (Rocket Boxers).

- a "Stella" son, "Blackjack"- Am/Can CH. Summer's Blackjack of Shadigee, A/C SOM places 2nd in his 8-10 years Veteran male class with an entry of 12, handled by Jack Brown.
- a "Dash Riprock" son, "Harley" - Am/Can CH. CynTech's A Touch of Dash  places 2nd in his 6 - 8 years Veteran male class with an entry of 11, handled by Michelle Yeadon.
- a "Dash Riprock" daughter, "Cher"  - Oakridge's The Beat Goes On made her debut at 3 months of age with her new owner Kelli Smith (Wild Thing Boxers) at the annual Fun Match and placed 2nd in the 3-6 month class with an entry of 5!
- Two "Mr. Spock" daughters, first  "Abby" - CedarLin's Absolutely Fetching made the cut in her huge 9-12 month fawn class with an entry of 21 handled by Debbie Struff! "Abby" also placed 3rd in the annual Fun Match and her litter sister "Celia" - CedarLin's Graceful Beginnings placed 2nd!


April 2010

-25- A "Mr. Spock" daughter "Chloe" - Rocket's Walk'N The Clouds (ex Am. CH. Bluecollar's Starship Mercury, CD RA NA NAJ CGC TT) won Winners Bitch today under judge Mr.Donald Booxbaum in Beeville, Texas!! Yesterday Chloe was Reserve Winners Bitch. "Chloe" was handled by her breeder & co-owner Kerry Rodgers (Rocket Boxers).  "Chloe" is owned by Jennifer Hitt & Carolyn Jowell. CONGRATULATIONS to ALL! We are VERY proud of "Chloe" !

-18- A "Mr. Spock" daughter "Abby" - CedarLin's Absolutely Fetching (ex. Am  CH. Regal's Full of Tender Grace, RA OJP NAC EJS O-TNO CGC) earned her Herding Instinct Certificate (HIC) at just 10 months of age!  "Abby" also won Best Puppy in Group the SAME weekend in Perry, GA, USA under judge Marjorie Martorella. Abby was handled by Jennifer Bittner and is owned by Joyce Whittall and co-owned by her breeder Becky Gilchrist (CedarLin Boxers). We are VERY proud of Abby!

-17- A "Mr. Spock" daughter, "Jasmine" -  Kiss N Tell's Ain't Misbehavin (ex. CH. Boyarka's Kiss N Tell, HIC) wins Winners Female for 2 points at the Edmonton Kennel Club Show in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada under judge Mr. Robert Stein. "Jasmine" is owned, bred & handled by Cindy Laschowski (Kiss N Tell Boxers).

Three "Mr. Spock" daughters did some nice winning in the show rings both sides of the border this past weekend!:

Firstly, "Abby" - CedarLin's Absolutely Fetching (ex. Am  CH. Regal's Full of Tender Grace, RA OJP NAC EJS TNS-E WV-N HP-N CGC) wins Winners Bitch from the 6-9 month class for 1 point in Hilton Head, South Carolina, USA under judge Judith Brown OWNER HANDLED by Joyce Whittall! Abby is co-owned by her breeder Becky Gilchrist (CedarLin Boxers). We are VERY proud of Abby!

Second, "Klassie" - CanHar's Canadian Klassic (ex Can. CH. Lookaway's Dazzling CanHar, CGN) won another point towards her Canadian Championship under judge Mr. Leslie Rogers in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada handled by me. "Klassie" is bred & owned by Tammy Harris and Austin Coates (Autam Boxers).

-31- A "Mr. Spock" daughter "Abby" - CedarLin's Absolutely Fetching (ex. Am  CH. Regal's Full of Tender Grace, RA OJP NAC EJS O-TNO CGC) won her FIRST POINT her first weekend of showing from the 6-9 month class at the Charleston  Kennel Club shows in South Carolina, USA under judge Patricia Laurans. Yesterday, Abby won Reserve Winners Bitch her very first day in the ring under judge KeKe Khan. Abby was handled by Jennifer Bittner and is owned by Joyce Whittall and co-owned by her breeder Becky Gilchrist (CedarLin Boxers).

-18- Our homebred "Stella" son "Blackjack" becomes an AMERICAN SIRE of MERIT! Congratulations to his owners Mary Jane & Lee Nowak, Shadigee Boxers!

- Stateside another "Mr. Spock" daughter has a good day at her first Fun Match in Georgia, USA! "Abby" - CedarLin's Absolutely Fetching (ex. Am  CH. Regal's Full of Tender Grace, RA OJP NAC OJC TNO CGC) won Best Boxer Puppy and Best Puppy in Working Group owner handled, at the tender age of 4 months, by Joyce Whitthall. "Abby" is co-owned and bred by Becky Gilchrist (CedarLin Boxers).

 Then in the Agility ring a "Mr. Spock" son, "Tucker" - CanHar's Canadian Kruisin AD, EAC, OJC, NCC, CL3, RS-N, JS-O, GS-N  (ex Can. CH. Lookaway's Dazzling CanHar, CGN) and his owner Janey earned the CL3 title in CPE Agility. "Tucker" was bred by Tammy Harris (AuTam Boxers) and owned, trained, handled & loved by Janey Wilcox in WA, USA. WAY TO GO Tucker & Janey!

-12- "Stella" - CH. Berlane's Wild Thing Stella, CD DOM  the foundation of "SUMMER Boxers" turns 13 years old!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Stella!!

"Nala" is owned by Erica Forbes and bred and co-owned by Cindy Laschowski (Kiss N Tell Boxers).
Yesterday  "Klassie" - CanHar's Canadian Klassic (ex Can. CH. Lookaway's Dazzling CanHar, CGN) was only entered in yesterday's show and won Reserve Winners Female under judge Mr. Melvin Beech handled by Larry Clark. "Klassie" is bred & owned by Tammy Harris and Austin Coates (Autam Boxers).

-28- Happy 6th Birthday to a Terrific Trio! "Mr. Spock" - Am/Can CH. NaJa's Enterprise of Summer, CD AGN and his two littersisters "Tasha" - Am CH. Naja's Date with Destiny and "Mia"- Am CH. Naja's Midnight Mischief!

-25/26/27- Two "Mr. Spock" daughters were entered in 3 shows each (in alternating shows at a 6 show weekend) at the Lloydminster Obedience & Kennel Club shows in Saskatchewan, Canada:

- First,  "Jasmine" -  Kiss N Tell's Ain't Misbehavin won 3 Winners Female and  3 Best Puppy in Breed for 5 points! Then, litter sister "Nala" - Kiss N Tell's Making It Happen won Winners Female for 1 point & a Best Puppy in Breed as well as a Reserve Winners Female!  (Note: there were no class males entered at these shows). Both girls were breeder owner handled in the Senior Puppy class by Cindy Laschowski (Kiss N Tell Boxers). These girls are out of CH. Boyarka's Kiss N Tell.  Way to go Cindy, Jasmine & Nala! Daddy Mr. Spock & I are very proud of you all!

What a weekend in the show rings (5/6/7)!:

-7-  First of all in eastern Canada, a "Dash Riprock"- Am/Can CH Summer's Dash Riprock, SOM grandson & "Stella" grandson/great grandson: "Broker" - DC's Inside Trader at Shadigee finished his Canadian Championship today at the Essex County Kennel Club shows in Ruthven, Ontario under judge Ms. Judi Elford.  "Broker" was shown all 4 days winning one Reserve Winners Dog, one Best of Winners & 3 Winners Dog all owner handled by Lee Nowak.  Broker was bred by Donna & Carl Schafer (DC Boxers). Donna also put 3 points on "Broker" last year. "Broker" is out of Dash's daughter, "Rosa" - Am/Can CH Primeau's Romancing The Rose, CGC & sired by Stella's son "Blackjack" - Am/Can CH Summer's Blackjack of  Shadige, SOM.

-6- Then stateside, a "Mr. Spock" (Dash Riprock son) daughter, "Addey" - JoCar's American Girl Doll  won Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex for her FIRST POINT at the Altoona Area Kennel Club show in Ebensburg, PA, USA under judge Ms. Debra Thornton OWNER HANDLED by Kelli Smith! WAY TO GO GIRLS! We are VERY proud of you!!

-5- Lastly in western Canada, another "Mr. Spock" - Am/Can CH. Naja's Enterprise of Summer, CD AGN daughter "Jasmine" -  Kiss N Tell's Ain't Misbehavin won Reserve Winners Female (under judge Mr. Rick Fehler) from the junior puppy female class the weekend of the Working Herding Specialty in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  "Jasmine" is out of CH. Boyarka's Kiss N Tell and was Breeder owner handled by Cindy Laschowski (Kiss N Tell Boxers).

-2- New 10 week stacks & headshot photos of 2 of the puppies from a litter sired by our boy "Mr. Spock" - Am/Can CH. Naja's Enterprise of Summer, CD AGN . For more information on the litter & to see pics of the whole litter at various ages click HERE. All puppies in this litter should be NEGATIVE  for Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy Mutation (ARVC) (heart condition) as BOTH sire & dam are NEGATIVE! This litter has been Temperament Tested!

-1- "Stella" & I would like to wish three of her sons, from her first litter, a Happy Birthday today!  "Buddy", "Mickey" and "Oscar" (full litter brothers to "Dash Riprock") are 9 years old today!

Breeder judge Ms. Pat Healy's comments on Rosa: "My first place was a nice square bitch with a lot of rear angulation, but she could use it!"

-14- a "Mr. Spock" daughter, Skye - Rocket's Sky's The Limit, RN CGC (ex Am. CH. Bluecollar's Starship Mercury, CD RA NA NAJ CGC TT)  earned her New COMPANION DOG (CD) title today from the Novice B class! -10-  another "Mr. Spock" kid,  "Klassie" - CanHar's Canadian Klassic (ex Can. CH. Lookaway's Dazzling CanHar, CGN) tests NEGATIVE for Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy Mutation (ARVC) (heart condition).  "Klassie" is bred & owned by Tammy Harris (CanHar Boxers) and Austin Coates.

-17/19- Two "Mr. Spock" kids have a great weekend at the Reliant series of dog shows in Houston, Texas, USA. First,  "Sam" - Rocket's Space Cowboy (ex Am. CH. Bluecollar's Starship Mercury, CD RA NA NAJ CGC TT) won a Reserve Winners Dog to a 3 point Major at the Blue Bonnet Boxer Club Specialty in Houston, TX under judge Mr. Jon Cole and another Reserve Winners Dog to a 3 point Major on the Sunday under judge Ms. Angela Porpora. Sam was handled by Terri Galle & is owned by Kitty Barnes (Merit Boxers) and bred & co-owned by Kerry Rodgers (Rocket Boxers). Then, littersister,  Skye (Rocket's Sky's The Limit, RN CGC) scored a 194 her first time in the obedience ring (Wild Card Novice) with breeder owner handler Kerry Rodgers!

-18-  A "Mr. Spock" son, "Tucker" - CanHar's Canadian Kruisin AD, EAC, OJC, NCC, CL2, RS-N, JS-O, GS-N  (ex Can. CH. Lookaway's Dazzling CanHar, CGN) and his owner Janey earned the Elite Agility Cert (EAC) title in NADAC Agility.  "Jasmine" -  Kiss N Tell's Ain't Misbehavin wins Winners Female for her first 2 points Breeder owner handled as well as 3 Best Puppy in Breed & 3 Reserves, litter sister "Nala" - Kiss N Tell's Making It Happen wins Best of Winners for her first 3 points handled by me & a Best Puppy in Breed! This was their first weekend in the ring at the tender age of 6 months old. These girls are out of CH. Boyarka's Kiss N Tell, bred and owned by Cindy Laschowski (Kiss N Tell Boxers).

Then our girl "GiGi"  won 3 Best of Breed and a GROUP 4 owner handled by me!

June 2009

-29- "Stella", the foundation of Summer Boxers at almost 13 years of age, and her grandson "Mr. Spock" (a Dash Riprock son) BOTH tested NEGATIVE for the  Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy Mutation (ARVC) (Boxer cardiomyopathy - heart condition)!!!

-24- a "Dash Riprock" daughter, "Rosa" - Am/Can CH Primeau's Romancing The Rose, CGC wins FIRST place in the 6- 8 years Veteran bitch class handled by Medley Small and then went on to win Best Veteran Bitch handled by Sharon Davis at the Ohio Boxer Club Specialty on Sunday under Breeder judge Ms. Cheryl Robbins!

- 30/31 - Two "Mr. Spock" sons, litter brothers, win Reserves this past weekend:   On Saturday "Sam" - Rocket's Space Cowboy won a Reserve Winners Dog to a 4 point Major in Lafayette, LA under judge Mr. Houston Clark, handled by Terri Galle and today "Max" - Rockett's Red Glare won a Reserve in Longmont, CO under judge Mr. Eric Ringle handled by Mitch Dunn.

- Several new photos added of "GiGi"  and her litter sister "Addey" taken while at the 2009 American Boxer Club (ABC) National Specialty!

   - a "Dash Riprock" daughter, "Rosa" - Am/Can CH Primeau's Romancing The Rose, CGC wins FIRST place in the 6- 8 years Veteran bitch class (5 in class) and our GiGi's" dam "Gabrielle" - Am. CH. Scenicvu's Iridescence wins SECOND place, in the same class Veterans bitch class, owner handled! WAY TO GO GIRLS!
   - "Gabrielle" also went on to win FOURTH place in the Brood Bitch class (10 entries) with her son "Jaxx" & daughter, "GiGi".
        These wins were all under breeder judge Pat Healy!

   - Two "Dash Riprock" grand daughters, out of his daughter "Rosa" & sired by "Blackjack",  "Jewel's" - Am/Can CH. DC's Precious Gem of Shadigee and "Ccetta"- Am/Can CH. DC's Turn On The Sunshine  made the cut in the Breed ring (under breeder judge Elizabeth Gunter) handled by Allison Jones! "Jewels" also qualified for her FIRST leg in Novice Obedience with SECOND in class owner handled! BEAUTY & BRAINS!!

   - a "Dash Riprock" grandson & "Blackjack" son, "Baxter" - Can CH. Shadigee's Double Down placed 2nd in the 12-15 month Brindle dog Futurity class (under breeder judge Mary Lou Hatfield) & made the cut in the 12-18 month Brindle dog regular class of 13 handled (under breeder judge Elizabeth Gunter) by Debbie Struff & littersister "Diamond"- Shadigee's Diamond in The Ruff placed 4th in the 12-15 month Brindle bitch Futurity class of 9 (under breeder judge Pat Healy) handled by Michelle Yeadon.

   - Other "Blackjack" kids did well too:
       i)  "Zeta" - ChooChoo's Farbeyond Imagination placed 3rd in the Open Brindle bitch class of 11 (under breeder judge Pat Healy) handled by Tami Mishler.
       ii) "Joker" - Shadigee's It's All About Me, RN CGC qualified for his 2nd leg in Rally Excellent!
      iii) "Kid" - Can CH. Valley's Bold Knight, NAJ, OAJ, AX won his EXB standard run in Agility, going 13 seconds under course time, earning him 26 MACH points!!

   -  "Mr. Spock" kids also did well:
       i) "Jaxx" - JoCar's Jack in The Boxx placed 4th in the 15-18 month Fawn dog Futurity class of 8(under breeder judge Mary Lou Hatfield) handled by Lisa Holden.
      ii) "Sam" - Rocket's Space Cowboy placed 3rd in the American Bred Fawn class of 12 (under breeder judge Elizabeth Gunter) handled by Terri Galle.
     iii) "Chloe" - Rocket's Walk'N The Clouds made the cut in the American Bred class of 15 (under breeder judge Pat Healy) handled by Tina Starr.
     iv) our girl "GiGi" - MBPIS Can CH. JoCar's Glamour Girl Of Summer and I were the only OWNER HANDLER team to make the cut from the 12- 18 month          Brindle bitch class of 24 (under breeder judge Pat Healy).
  ***"GiGi" also passed her echocardiogram flow doppler ultrasound for Sub-Aortic Stenosis (SAS), and had no murmur, under Dr. Kate Meurs.


April 2009

- A "Mr. Spock" son..."Jackson" - KissNTell's Coming to America (Can. CH . Boyarka's KissNTell, HIC) earned his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title at the tender age of 4 1/2 months! "Jackson" was bred by Cindy Laschowski (KissNTell Boxers) and is owned, trained & loved by Marie Giere in Dillon, MT, USA. WAY TO GO! We are VERY proud of you!

White on Saturday then on Sunday Winners Bitch, Best of Winners & BEST OF BREED for 1 point under judge Mr. T. Gomez in Texas, USA.  "Skye" was Breeder Owner handled by Kerry Rodgers (Rocket Boxers) . WAY TO GO GALS!!!!!
- "Tucker" - CanHar's Canadian Kruisin AD, OAC, OJC, NCC, CL2, RS-N, JS-O, GS-N  (ex Can. CH. Lookaway's Dazzling CanHar, CGN) and his owner Janey have been busy trialing in Agility. Tucker is almost finished his Level 3 title in CPE but...he did get his "Agility Dog" (AD) title in USDAA this past weekend!  "Tucker" was bred by Tammy Harris (CanHar Boxers) and owned, trained, handled & loved by Janey Wilcox in WA, USA. WAY TO GO Tucker & Janey!

-3- "Stella" - CH. Berlane's Wild Thing Stella, CD DOM  wins Best Veteran Female (under breeder judge Shirley Bell, Canada) & made it to the  FINAL CUT in the Breed ring with her grandson "Mr. Spock" - Am/Can CH. Naja's Enterprise of Summer, CD AGN (5 1/2 yrs) & great grand daughter "GiGi" - MBPIS CH. JoCar's Glamour Girl of Summer  (16 mos) at the Alberta Boxer Club of Canada Specialty held in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada (with an entry of 48 Boxers, 22 Specials in the  Breed ring!). Stella was the oldest Boxer entered at 12 1/2 years of age!  
"Mr. Spock" also won Best Stud Dog with his 2 daughters: "GiGi" - MBPIS CH. JoCar's Glamour Girl of Summer & "Klassie" - CanHar's Canadian Klassic (1st in Open Fawn class).
