WHAT'S NEW in 2012?

February

-17- Three "Dash Riprock" kids showed today only, in Markham, Ontario, Canada at the Ontario Breeders Associations shows. In Show #1, under judge Ms. Kim Ramey-LeBlanc,  "Dakota" - DC's Stones Throw to Summer (ex. Am/Can CH. DC's Precious Gem of Shadigee, CGC) won Winners Dog for 1 point from the Bred By Exhibtor class handled by his breeder & co-owner Donna Schafer (DC Boxers) and his full litter brother "Journey" -DC's Don't Stop Believin' In Summer won Reserve Winners Dog, handled by his best friend Kelli Smith (Wild Thing Boxers). Kelli also owner handled her girl  "Cher" - Can CH. Oakridge's The Beat Goes On of Summer (ex. Am/Can CH. DC's Turn On The Sunshine) to Best of Opposite Sex. "Cher" is bred and co-owned by by Sharon Davis (OakRidge Boxers) and co-bred Donna Schafer.

In Show #2, under judge Mr. Thomas Burke, "Journey" won Winners Dog for 1 point handled by Amelie Sylvestre and his full litter brother  "Dakota" won Reserve Winners Dog, handled by his breeder & co-owner Donna Schafer.  "Dakota" is owned by the Weber family, "Journey" is owned by Darlene Newcomer (Tre Ragazze Boxers) and co-owned by her daughter Lori Goodwin. Both boys are co-owned by their breeder Donna Schafer and myself. Congratulations to everyone!

-28/29- a "Mr. Spock" daughter "Abby" - CH Cedarlin's Absolutely Fetching, HIC CGC (ex. Am CH Regal's Full of Ten Der Grace CD RE AJP NFP EAS O-EJS NCC TNS-E WV-N TG-N HP-O CGC) and her owner Joyce Whittal earned Abby's first two legs in the Beginner Novice B (BN) Obedience class with scores of 186 & 194.5 under judges Anthony Cherubini and Victoria Brown at the Charleston Dog Training Club! Then over to the Conformation show ring at the Charleston Kennel clunb shows under judges Patricia Trotter and Rita Biddle Esq., "Abby" won Select Bitch each day for her first 2 points towards her AKC Grand Champion title handled by Jennifer Bittner! These shows and trials were held in Ladson, SC, USA!! "Abby" was bred by Becky Gilchrist (CedarLin Boxers). What an awesome weekend and great display of a true working beauty!!!

-28- a "Mr. Spock" son, "Ryder" - Gentry's Next Generation at Dunnford (ex. Am/Int'l CH. Reo's Miss Hershey's Kiss) won Reserve Winners Dog under judge Mr. Rick Gschwender from the 12-18 month class at the Erie Kennel Club show in Erie, PA, USA owner handled by Christine Shackleford (Dunnford Boxers)! "Ryder" is bred by Paula Vandervoort (Gentry Boxers). Way to go Ryder!

-22 - Our "Mr. Spock" daughter, "GiGi" - Can CH. JoCar's Glamour Girl of Summer, HIC  (ex. Am CH Scenicvu's Iridescence, DOMC) won the large Open Brindle class of 7 and went on to Winners Bitch for a 4 point Major under Breeder judge Mr. Richard Beauchamp handled by Kimberlie Steele-Gamero at the Tualatin Kennel Club show in Portland Oregon, USA! GiGi won this large class or placed in the ribbons in every show and was owner handled by me for 4 of the 6 shows! Thank you Kimberlie for all your efforts in making GiGi a stand out!

On this same day in Brooksville, Florida, USA at the Pasco Florida Kennel Club show under judge Dennis Gallant, "GiGi's" litter brother "Jaxx" - Can CH  JoCar's Jack In The Boxx (ex. Am CH Scenicvu's Iridescence, DOMC) won a 3 point MAJOR Best of Winners to complete his American Champion title! "Jaxx" was handled by Debbie Struff and is the 1st Am/Can Champion for BOTH his Sire and Dam and the 4th American Champion for his sire!

Also, on this day in the Agility rings in Davenport, Iowa, USA...TWO littermates also sired by "Mr. Spock" and out of Am CH. Regal's Full of Tender Grace, CD RE NAP AXP NFP EAS NCC O-EJS TGN WVN HPO CGC qualified FIRST in their CPE Agility classes! "Celia" - CedarLin's Graceful Beginnings in CPE Jumpers and "Silas" - CedarLin's Regal Beginnings, RN CGC in CPE Regular! These kids are both bred, owned, trained and handled by Becky Gilchrist (CedarLin Boxers). WAY TO GO! What a family!

-18 - A "Mr. Spock" son, "Sabastian" - Mi-T's Top Secet Enterprise (ex. Mi-T's I'm A Little Rascal) won a MAJOR Reserve Winners Dog his very first time in the ring at the Mount Rainier Working Dog Club under judge Peter Gaeta in Portland, Oregon, USA!  Later that afternoon, "Sabastian" also won the American Bred class at the Oregon Boxer Club Specilaty under Breeder judge Ms. Patricia Healy handled by Naomi Gibbs! "Sabastian" is owned by Terri Dunning (Alpine Boxers) and co-owned & bred by Terri & Randy Pope (Mi-T Boxers). So proud of this boy! Congratulations!

Two other "Mr. Spock" kids won their classes at the Oregon Boxer Club Specialty:
"Solo" - Ripn T's Riding Solo (ex. Ripn T's Paisly Sky) won the Bred- By-Exhibitor class with his breeder owner handler Tina Montgomery (Ripn T Boxers) and
our girl "GiGi" - Can CH. JoCar's Glamour Girl of Summer, HIC  (ex. Am CH Scenicvu's Iridescence, DOMC) won the large Open Brindle class of 8 and went on to make the cut in the Winners Bitch ring owner handled by me.

-15- A "Mr. Spock"daughter,  "Babe" - SBK's Buttercup Babe (ex. Faerdorn's Dream Girl) won Winners Bitch for 2 points under judge Ms. Lisa DeRoulet at the Merrimack Valley Kennel Club show in Fitchburg, MA handled by Kimberly Pastella! "Babe" is bred and owned by Sandie Dietz (SBK Boxers). Congratulations!
